Wall plates - New single and dual port UK versions launched!
Freeport
One of the worlds largest manufacturers
of ATC approved HDMI Wall plates
HDMI
plastic wallplates allow you to easily route HDMI
inline connections in your home, ensuring a proffessional
installation. Wall plates enable HDMI cables to be
hidden but still allow a high quality connection to
be made with an attractive finish.
The
Freeport HDMI
wall plate requires no soldering and features a gold
plated hdmi connector on both sides of the plate making
installation very quick and simple. A standard HDMI
cable can be simply plugged into the back of the
wall plate and run internally within a wall. You have
a choice of a Single or dual port HDMI
connectors at the front. Each wall plate comes
complete with mounting screws. There are UK versions
which require a standard single backbox, with a minimum
depth of 25mm. There is also a US version which can
also be used Internationally due to its design, which
does not require a backbox.
Various types of single and dual port,
straight or right angle rear hdmi connectors, or
fixed short rear hdmi cables can be combined with
Freeport hdmi wall plates to achieve solutions for
various different hdmi applications / installations.
Note about back boxes:
1. Our latest UK designed compatible backboxes will
fit standard UK single way socket surface mounted
or plaster depth metal boxes.
2. Rear wall mounted back boxes are not required
with our US hdmi wall plate design. The Freeport
design enables the required rear space in the wall
for the HDMI cable(s) to be decided by the installer
and can then be as large or as small as is required.
The inner plate is then screwed onto the wall via
standard wall plug / rawlplug fixings, which then
covers the rear cabling in the hole that has been
created. The outer plate is then screwed onto the
inner plate which covers any imperfections and gives
an attractive finish.
Please bear in mind the required cabling space considerations
when planning your HDMI installation.
