DisplayPort is the new digital display interface standard as laid out by the Video Electronics Standards Association - VESA Displayport is a new license and royalty free, high tech digital audio video interconnect system. Main uses include: 1. Between a computer and its display monitor, 2. Between a computer and a home theater system.
